Mike the Service Manager is so awesome. I have a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer in which the cruise control quit working right after I leased it. He was on top of it to figure out the problem. Once he did and ordered the part then GM parts started with their agonizing problem of no parts. With no backorder date, no answer to when or any updates as to when it would be in. Mike kept me updated, offered me a loaner if I needed to drive to Minnesota to see family because of health related issues I rely on my cruise control. So almost 3 months later GM finally shipped the part and Mike got me in right away to fix my vehicle. His kindness, compassion was the only reason I did not throw a big fit and besides it was not his fault it was GM Parts fault! So any service you need take it to Verne Eide in Mitchell as they always go above and beyond. Also on a side note if you are looking for a new vehicle to buy or lease look up Trent the Sales Manager and his sales crew. I have worked with Trent for a long time and he is the most kindest person you will ever meet. He goes above and beyond to help you get what you need or want.Trent thanks for all you do to help me. Excellent homemade treats and drinks provided while I waited for my vehicle. They updated me with each step along the way and had even gave me a ride back home and delivered my vehicle to me after they let me add a wash to my oil change. The staff so friendly and welcoming, my service advisor was just lovely as well.

I usually rate 4 stars when I am impressed. This was a very smooth process from beginning to end. More specifically I would like give high praise to my salesman, Wyatt. Not only was he extremely genuine, but also a true professional. He answered any questions that I had about the truck and the financing. He addressed any of my concerns with an expert response. His knowledge and experience in auto sales was far superior to that of the salesman that I encountered at other dealerships across the Midwest. His approach is quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him at all. After doing my homework and shopping around I knew the deal that I needed to make things work for me. At no time did I have to wheel and deal to get the deal that worked for me. He found a way to make the financing work better for me even though I came in with a really good offer from capital one. Not only did I get to leave Vern Eide with the truck that I went there to buy, but I also left knowing that they did their absolute best to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Wyatt. Thanks also go out to Cody in the Finance department that did most of the work on the loan and warranty side of things. Thank you for your patience and for staying very very very late to wrap the deal up, Cody. They both stayed over 4 hours after closing, on a Friday night. I live 2 hours away from Vern Eide Chevy. I found the truck online, and contacted the dealership online. I didn’t feel at a disadvantage because I was so far away. I was taken care of just the same as if I lived in Mitchell, SD. Wyatt took a video of the truck and sent me additional photos of the truck to I could do most of the deciding through photos. Their online auto check from Experian allowed me to look at all of the vehicle history and make sure the truck was a good fit for me. If you live far away, please don’t let the distance stop you from taking a real look at Vern Eide Chevy in Mitchell, SD. You won’t be disappointed in their customer service. Recently we required an unexpected service while traveling to Montana. The service department was phenomenal in performing this service timely. Kasee Hetland provided us with outstanding customer service and kept us informed during the repairs. Kasee even stayed late to make sure the repairs were completed so we could continue with our travels. The service tech, Erik Vaneverdingen was excellent and efficient. He even performed an unknown recall in a timely fashion. As a General Motors fleet owner of heavy duty vehicles, I wish Vern Eide's service department was in Georgia. My experience left a lasting impression for quality customer service. Kasee was outstanding and receives my gratitude and praise. Many thanks for everything!
