To the customers of Vern Eide of Mitchell,
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For Vern Eide of Mitchell, that means understanding how it affects our employees, customers and community, and then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.
We have one simple objective that guides us: keeping you and our employees safe. This has been at the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we have made several moves in our business in response to the threat of the coronavirus.
We have ramped up cleaning services at our stores and are making hand sanitizer available throughout the dealerships. Sanitizing wipes are near workstations and counters so that employees can keep them continuously cleaned.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick.
We have cancelled various training events that our employees were scheduled to attend, again to do what we can to help prevent the spread of the illness.
If you do stop into one of our stores over the next few weeks, you will notice we have suspended serving cookies and popcorn. Rest assured, that these amenities will be reinstituted once the threat of illness has subsided, but we felt it was in everyone’s best interest to suspend serving these items temporarily.
At the center of our company’s purpose is a commitment to be there for our employees and customers, and it is something we take to heart in good times and bad. This why we’ll be working hard to keep our stores open so we can be there to support you and your families as you need us.
Thank you for your continued support of Vern Eide of Mitchell. We look forward to assisting you with your automotive needs now and in the future.
