When the newest version of Chevrolet’s best-selling SUV was delayed last year, driving enthusiasts were left wondering, “Will there be a Chevy 2022 Equinox?” Luckily, Vern Eide Chevrolet is here to confirm that yes, there will be a 2022 Equinox!
Refreshed for the 2022 model year, the new Equinox has redesigned headlights and taillights, a new front grille, a restyled lower fascia, and a revised rear bumper. Perhaps even more exciting than a refreshed exterior, however, is Chevy’s reconfiguration of the Equinox trim levels. While this news spells the end for Equinox’s base L model, it also means more advanced safety tech across more trims, a reimagined Equinox Premier model that promises high-end upgrades, and an all-new Equinox RS trim for South Dakota’s sportiest drivers.

Chevrolet is yet to announce an official 2022 Equinox release date; however, the automaker did confirm the SUV will hit dealerships like Vern Eide Chevrolet in Q3—or July 1st through September 30th (to put it in layman’s terms).
Although Chevrolet hasn’t released any pricing details for its refreshed SUV, the auto specialists at Kelley Blue Book expect the 2022 Equinox price to fall somewhere between $25,000 for the base model and $40,000 for the top Premier trim.
Chevrolet announced production of the 2022 Equinox will begin on June 14, 2021, and as it was previously mentioned, the Equinox release date is set for Q3.
